That’s right, Tales from Nanumea is scheduled to make an appearance at this year’s VIVA Victoria Festival at Fed Square, Melbourne, on Sunday, March 25th, 12-6pm. The festival is part of Victoria’s Cultural Diversity Week, which certainly brings back some nostalgia from my international school days.
Here’s a little excerpt about the event from the official website:
In 2012, the Viva Victoria festival will feature four stages and a stellar line up of some of Australia’s finest multicultural acts. There will be spectacular dance performances, extravagant costumes and energetic drumming. If all that activity sounds exhausting, you can escape to the world market area where you can indulge in some retail therapy. Market stalls featuring unique contemporary and traditional art and craft products are on sale. And along the River Terrace you will be able to sample cuisine from around the world – there’s something to suit everyone’s taste!
We’ll be setup at the entrance, at the front of the BMW Edge as people walk in.
Look forward to seeing some of you guys there!
