Preserving Culture

Tuvalu is a relatively small nation that is at risk of sinking due to rising ocean levels. Preserving Tuvaluan culture is important for both current and future generations.

Sharing Ancient Knowledge

Spiritual knowledge is embedded in the stories passed down from generation to generation, and is unlocked to those who can decipher their messages.

Transmuting Oral Histories

Animation is a unique way of bringing life to oral stories. It is more relevant to today's youth and can be disseminated on a much larger scale than traditional mediums.

About The Project

The Tales from Nanumea series is a project that was started by George “Siosi” Samuels to help save and preserve the culture, stories, and oral traditions of Tuvalu (a nation at risk of losing their land due to global warming and rising ocean levels) through animation. We are currently seeking funds for Episode 4. Contact us if you would like to help.
